BOS AG is a young high-tech company that, with its products, is driving forward decentralised energy supply using hybrid charging technology for solar systems in rural areas in Africa, among others. BOS is on a strong growth path and is planning several digital innovations for the coming years.

Against this background, we supported the BOS team, led by CEO Benjamin Seckinger and COO Fabian Weber, in developing a target IT vision and associated implementation projects to optimally support BOS's further growth and digital innovations.

In 4 weeks we defined the goals of the digital transformation together and derived over 20 specific initiatives: these include topics such as the cloud migration of individual servers, innovations in the context of IoT, or deep system integration with production partners.

At least as important: alongside the goals and content, we have jointly worked out the necessary organisational prerequisites and roles for BOS in order to successfully manage the rapid development of the coming years internally.

We really enjoyed the project. BOS is also pleased with the results and the collaboration, and has already recommended us to others.

BOS Balance of Storage Systems AG is a German high-tech company based in Neu-Ulm. The company was founded in July 2014 and employs 30 people. The CEO and co-founder of the company is Benjamin Seckinger. BOS aims to become the leading company in decentralised energy supply with a focus on lithium-lead (Li-Pb) hybrid charging technology for solar systems that supports intelligent charge management. Its key markets are in rural and semi-urban areas in Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America with inadequate access to modern energy services, as well as in market segments in industrialised countries that require a decentralised energy supply.
